2016 - Construction of New Ramp – Eastbound Gardiner Expressway at Lower Simcoe Street and Harbour Street Improvements
City of Toronto

This project consisted of the demolition/removal of the Gardiner York-Bay-Yong Streets Off Ramp and the construction of the new Gardiner Lower Simcoe Off Ramp from Eastbound Gardiner Expressway. The project also included the widening and modification of Harbour Street from Lower Simcoe Street to Bay Street including the intersection with Lower Simcoe, York and Bay Streets.

Embracing the challenges and needs of public infrastructure and safety has been an ongoing mandate for Grascan Construction Ltd., developing new technologies, partnering internationally and implementing innovative construction techniques and management has been the key to our success.

Rapid Transit and Railway
Since inauguration in 1987, Grascan Construction Ltd. has been actively involved in the heavy construction of rapid transit and railway projects. We are currently one of the few approved Metrolinx (GO Transit), Canadian National Railway (CNR) and Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) contractors. Our experience and reputation with safety and hands on approach to constructability have labeled us one of the best. With an increasing demand for more public transit, Grascan has strategically positioned itself to help provide the services required.
